What’s All The FLOS About? – The Kelvin LED Green Light, That’s What!

Luxury designer lighting company FLOS recently unveiled the Kelvin LED Green, an eco-friendly update to the original Kelvin, by award-winning designers Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen.

Crafted in Italy, the Kelvin is available in five models and equipped with 30 TOP LED 3000K 275lm CRI 95 bulbs, a chrome adjustable arm and a reflector. With its highly efficient bulbs consuming only 7.5 watts, the stunning lamp is an environmentally sensitive art piece. (Traditional lamps use 60 watts)

The Kelvin LED Green is available in two models, with a daylight sensor or a daylight sensor/ motion sensor, and in colors anthracite, chrome, glossy white and glossy black. The combination of two sensors in one light is incredibly unique in the world of lighting, adding to the piece’s green consciousness. In order to activate the daylight/motion sensor, simply sweep your fingertip over the touch sensor on the lamp head for a few seconds until it turns on; sweep again to turn off.
